Romp n Roll to Royal Recess changes

Exciting Changes for 2024 - Boarding, Grooming, and Daycare

Starting February 1st

After much consideration and planning, we have made the decision to close our Romp N Roll building. However, this isn't the end of our commitment to providing exceptional care and services for your beloved pets. Instead, we are thrilled to announce the evolution of our daycare offerings under a new name: "Royal Recess"

Royal Treatment’s Dog Boarding Services Can Be Better Than Hiring a Pet Sitter

Some Pets Benefit More Staying at a Dog Boarding Facility, Especially a Resort-Style Boarding Place

When pet owners think about a dog boarding facility, the first thing that comes to mind is generally a dreary room with dogs in metal crates. At Royal Treatment, we believe that is certainly not how a dog should spend their days while you’re not home. That’s why our pet boarding service is designed as a vacation retreat for dogs.

Of course, there are still owners who feel that hiring a dog sitter to stay with their dog or check up on their dog at their home is better. While hiring a pet sitter might seem like the only way to feel certain that your dog will be properly cared for, there are more advantages for both you and your furry companion in choosing a resort-style dog boarding facility like the one at Royal Treatment.

More Supervised Care and Attention

Most of the time, a pet sitter will come to your house once or twice a day to feed your dog and take them out to enjoy the fresh air. For the rest of the time, your best friend is home alone for hours on end. If your dog is energetic, being alone for that long could result in either destroyed furniture or having to be locked away in a crate.

If your dog requires more supervision, bringing your companion to a boarding facility to stay while you’re gone might be the better option. Dog boarding places like Royal Treatment have experienced caretakers giving your four-legged friend the extra attention it needs to feel loved and comforted throughout the entire day.

Additionally, the Care and Attention Your Dog Receives Is from Trained Professionals

What makes boarding facilities more ideal is the quality of attention that your dog receives from them.  Trained caretakers who are prepared for any medical situations that may occur are watching your dog at a boarding place. Boarding facilities also often have strong relationships with veterinary clinics for the rare emergency situation. The staff members are qualified and experienced in taking care of any sudden or ongoing problems both diligently and professionally.

Of course, a pet sitter may be more beneficial for your dog under certain conditions. If having someone watch your pet at home is necessary due to your dog’s age or fragile state, be sure you also have either a veterinarian or vet tech check in on your dog. While no one wants to imagine anything bad happening to their furry companion, it is a factor you must consider when choosing between a pet sitter or dog boarding facility.

A dog playing at a dog boarding facility Your Best Friend Will Get to Socialize and Have More Play Time

At a boarding facility, your dog will have enough room to run around and play with their new friends who are also staying there. Quality dog boarding facilities like Royal Treatment offer both indoor and outdoor play areas where dogs can have fun in the sun or in the cool air conditioning. This is extremely beneficial for owners with dogs who like having playtime because you won’t have to worry if your furry friend is getting enough exercise or social interaction.

While a dog sitter could take your pup to the dog park, asking a pet sitter to drive your dog anywhere besides the vet for an emergency is not always convenient. Dog sitters are generally best for pups that are low maintenance and do not require much interaction as they are simply there to make sure your four-legged friend has the basic care that he or she needs while you are gone.

For Owners, It’s a More Convenient Option During the Holiday Time

The holidays are a busy time for everyone, but as you may know, it can be even more stressful on pet owners. With all of the planning and work that goes into coordinating get-togethers, it can be overwhelming to make your own plans on top of coordinating those with a pet sitter’s plans. With all the commotion that the holiday season brings, people’s availability to watch over your dog isn’t always an easy task.

Instead of adding more stress to yourself by trying to make pet sitting arrangements around both you and a sitter’s holiday schedule, it is much easier to bring your furry friend to a dog boarding facility where you know he or she will be taken care of by experienced caretakers even during the holidays.

Like humans, dogs like to relax and feel pampered every now and then. So, when you’re away from home and need a place for your furry best friend to go, treat your pet to a resort-style dog boarding service. Royal Treatment provides resort-style services for your best friend so that they can be properly cared for and pampered in your absence.

Your dog gets a spacious suite as well as having plenty of fun activities to occupy their time. With additional services available such as grooming and pet-friendly spa treatments, your pooch can feel like they’re staying at a five-star resort. 1. I appreciate how you mentioned that dog boarding services are beneficial because they allow your pet to have fun socializing with other animals. My husband and I are going on vacation in a few weeks and we’re not sure where our puppy would best enjoy himself while we’re gone since we can’t bring him. We’ll have to find a doggie daycare that will allow him to socialize with other animals and enjoy the week until we return. Thanks for the tips!

  2. I liked what you said about our dog getting more play time and get to socialize. My husband and I have been pretty back and forth about going with a pet sitter and boarding. It would be great to be sure that our dog was with a lot of other people and dogs while we were away.
